Rough Cut

We presented to an audience a rough cut of our music video, some parts were not completed and we knew that some of the shots needed to be adjusted or re-shot, to help us with our feedback we asked them to answer a few questions to help us improve on our music video. We firstly asked whether they enjoyed the video and why, everyone said they enjoyed, this may be out of common courtesy, howeverthere reasons were normally the same, people said that they enjoyed the locations which made it very interesting to watch, they enjoyed the stop motion and also they said the lip synching was good. Overall they said they could repeatedly watch it. We also asked if the genre was apparent throughout the video and they agreed due to the costume being worn and the mise en scene and this re inforces Jamie T's image. One shot that the majority of people liked the most wasn't even in the video, unintentionally it was left in the time line at the end when there is me dancing with the London Eye in the backdrop, this means we will try and put this in. Some areas we were told to improve on is the shoe stop motion needs to be more crisp and fluid, which we will re shoot, the performance shots are too static, which means we will need to put a few zooms in this, more jump cuts need to be included and some shots need to sharpen up a bit and be a bit shorter.
