PW - Choosing A Music Track

As the decision date for our track was starting to draw closer, we decided to start narrowing down our ideas so that we could make a well thought out decision on which music track we wanted to use for our music video production. I started to look at boy band tracks but I did not have much success as it seemed like all the good tracks by well known boy bands already had successful music videos, these boy bands were such as Westlife, Backstreet Boys and Boyzone. We then went on to look at artists such as Jamie T, The Streets and Friday Hill. These artists became the three artists in our shortlist. However, after much discussion about what would be best for our group we decided to stick to a Jamie T track. The track we have chosen is called ‘Castro Dies’ by Jamie T. It is a very upbeat track which will suit our ideas. We can now start developing our ideas into a plot treatment and a pitch.
